Both fruit and vegetable juices have been made almost always. We like the former almost without exception, while to the latter we slowly start to get used to it, and still we are a bit surprised when they are promoted as drinking drinks.
But it is difficult to believe that juices that we buy in shops can be equally healthy as those that we prepare ourselves at home. After all, serial production uses slightly different product selection rules, while adding sweeteners, flavour enhancers and preservatives. Even the names of these additional ingredients do not sound good. It is therefore hard to underestimate the importance of preparing juices on your own, as it is precisely those that are freshly pressed that are also the healthiest. It is all the more simple because we can quickly prepare them ourselves, e.g. with a juice squeezer. But where does their beneficial effect on health come from and why should we actually drink them?

Health hidden in the liquid

All enzymes, vitamins and minerals we deal with in juices have their source in the fruits and vegetables we use. So do we necessarily have to make juice from them? Or maybe it is better to just eat the product, which will not generate any extra effort on our part? However, research confirms that juices should be in the centre of our interest, because the beneficial substances contained in them can be as much as four times better absorbed by the human body. As a result, we will provide more vitamins in juice than in a fruit or vegetable. This is because juices are easily assimilated, and thus the ingredients contained in them spread faster through our body. Sometimes it only takes 15 minutes. Just a moment later, the old cells are replaced by new ones, and the latter are enriched with beneficial ingredients in the juice. As a result, we start to feel better shortly after we have consumed it, we have more energy and we find the will to act.

The multitude of possibilities

Both fruit and vegetable juices are characterised by the fact that they can be made using dozens of flavour combinations. Our own preferences seem to be crucial here, and no one has the right to tell us that an apple must be mixed with carrots and orange juice cannot be combined with a bit of lemon grass. In fact, what we like the most is crucial, although it is also important what nutrients we plan to smuggle in using the juice. And yet it is invaluable, among other things, when we want to serve ourselves a vegetable that we don't like.

Depending on our individual preferences, we can salt the juices, add a bit of sugar to them, mix them with each other, and even create combinations of fruit and vegetables. This is very important in the case of children, as they often do not like specific fruits and vegetables. Giving them juice often brings much better results than forcing them to eat broccoli for dinner. Of course, they should also eat green vegetables, but these very frequently start to taste with age. The easier assimilability makes it necessary to have much less juice than the fruit and vegetables themselves to provide the body with a daily portion of vitamins and minerals.

Why should we actually drink juice?

The answer to why we should drink fruit and vegetable juices is not too complicated. After all, the vitamins and minerals they contain contribute to our health. Drinking juices protects our body from hypertension, heart diseases, improves sight, has a positive effect on the condition of hair, skin and nails, and at the same time minimizes the risk of stroke, and even ... many cancers.

Both our daily diet and our lifestyle - in a harmful environment and under constant stress - contribute to acidification. This is a serious problem, because we must not forget that the acidified organism is more susceptible to various infections, and in more extreme cases - to cancer. The risk of developing diabetes also increases, and our general well-being is also noticeably deteriorated. We lack energy and are often apathetic. However, it turns out that freshly squeezed juices can provide invaluable support in this case. Not only do they effectively cleanse the body of toxins, but they also eliminate acidification, add energy and improve health. What's more, the changes are rapid. Treatment with juices is also invaluable when we want to increase our immunity. This is mainly due to their high content of vitamin C present in numerous vegetables and fruits. Juices also draw attention to themselves as a source of many free radical neutralizing ingredients. Thus they contribute to slowing down the aging process of the body and prevent the appearance of diseases.

Juices during weight loss

When talking about the advantages of freshly squeezed juices, one must not forget that they are invaluable for people who care about their figure. It doesn't matter whether they want to keep their optimum weight as long as possible or whether they are just losing weight - they will always need a vitamin bomb. This is possible primarily because fibre is present in both fruits and vegetables, and this fibre goes into our body together with juice to support the weight loss process.

The most characteristic feature of dietary fiber is that it swells in the stomach, and thus contributes to eliminating the feeling of hunger. If we are full, we do not need to reach for snacks. We eat less, we also fat less, and the fat tissue that has already accumulated can be used by the body for its proper functioning. It is from it that energy starts to be generated, and we start to lose weight. Last but not least, fiber contributes to the regulation of digestive processes in the body and at the same time supports the work of organs in the digestive system.
